 Good item, but another product is better, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Standers Children's Safety Bed Rail and Padded Pouch (Health and Beauty) After a long search for a saftey rail that was tall enough to be five inches over my sons pillow top bed, I finally decided upon this safety rail because it had the padded bumper. I have no doubts about the strength of the saftey rail. It is made of solid metal bars. My son loves the pad with the pockets. He puts books in the pockets each night so he can look at them after he has supposed to go to sleep. The saftey rail will last through this son and any future children I have.Because my son almost fell out of his bed one night, I decided to purchase a second safety rail. Instead of going for this more expensive child safety rail with a pad, I chose to go with Standers Saftey rail without a pad (the adult verion) that has the exact same dimensions and roughly $20 to $25 cheaper.
